Restaurants We Know You Want To Put on Your Radar: Le Crocodile
The week between Christmas and New Years is a great time to check out a new restaurant, which is why we’re excited to share our latest discovery: Le Crocodile. Located in the Wythe Hotel, which really set the standard for Brooklyn’s hipster hotels when it first opened, Le Crocodile is all about serving French food with flare. But not crocodiles. There’s definitely no one cooking those here.
At Le Crocodile, you’re going to want to order a little bit of everything you won’t make at home, like escargot and a dry age bone in strip. There’s plenty to like if you’re a meat lover, and some dishes we can’t wait to try include duck breast with prunes and wild rice, steak frite au poivre, and all the pâtés. Seriously, there are like multiple pâtés made up of things like chicken liver and pistachios and foie gras and well you get the ida. For drinks, classics like martinis and sazeracs are what you want to start your night off with before chatting with your sommelier for a bottle of wine. Because this is Brooklyn, there is also beer available by the bottle and can.
Le Crocodile is currently open for dinner Monday through Saturday, and is also offering special menus for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
