Weekend Vibes

We can’t stop smiling at this weekend’s line up of ways to unwind. But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself (and try not to laugh too hard at this photo or risk sharing your secret weekend guide with coworkers).

NYC Staycation

Apartment 5A Seinfeld Tribute, Parasol Projects, 213 Bowery, Friday through Sunday

What’s the deal with people’s obsession with Seinfeld? Find fine paintings of George Costanza and more at Spoke Art Gallery’s Pop Up, which celebrates all of the best inside jokes from the popular TV show as part of its 30th anniversary. As part of the festivus for the rest of us, comedians including Shane Torres will perform live sets on Saturday night from 8 PM to 10 PM. Admission is free.

The Wizards Brunch and Dinner, Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers, Friday Through Sunday

Muggles are more than welcome at this Harry Potter inspired dinner and brunch party. Featuring food from Chef Abigail Kirsch, the family friendly brunch - but adults only dinner - includes magicians, potion lessons, and some special theme drinks designed which might have you flying high even without a broomstick. Reserve your tickets here.

The New York Cocktail Expo, Melrose Ballroom, 36-08 33rd Street, Queens, Sunday

If you haven’t joined us at Pouring Ribbons just yet to learn how to make some pretty drinks, our next class is coming up this Tuesday. Before attending, we think checking out the New York Cocktail Expo will give you a great idea of what spirits, shakers, and styles bartenders from around the city are using these days. Reserve your ticket here.
