in-person ⬝ hands-on
Off the recent passing of Andrew Bellucci, Restaurateur Matthew Katakis invites you for an afternoon of recreating never-before seen pizza styles as perfected by the Don of Dough himself, Andrew Bellucci.
As his namesake restaurant lives on, this experience will ensure that his legacy does too.
Throughout the class, you’ll hear Chef Bellucci’s story and extensive pizza background as you learn to hand-stretch a 12” pizza.
Guests will also enjoy some wine, soft drinks, pasta and two styles of pizza.
Starting off with a demo on how the “Don of Dough” himself would make his top-rated pizza, guests will then get hands-on as they learn to open up a pie, toss it and design their own pizza using ingredients that never made it to the menu.
Afterwards, it’s time to enjoy the uniquely-designed and piping-hot pizza along with some sweet zeppoles and a take-home pizza dough.

About THE DON
Andrew bellucci
Former Chef, Andrew Bellucci’s Pizzeria
Chef Andrew Bellucci had been making Pizza for over 30 Years. He tragically died in his eponymous pizzeria on May 31, 2023 from a sudden heart attack while making pizza for guests. While Classically French-trained, he was most known for reopening the famous coal-fired Lombardi's (NYC's oldest Pizzeria) as well as stints at Joe's Pizza, Two Boots Pizza, Rubi Rosa's, Bellucci Pizza and finally at his eponymous Andrew Bellucci's Pizzeria.
Committed to using only the highest grade ingredients, Andrew put all his attention and LOVE into creating unforgettable food! As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Andrew was the creator of both the Legendary Vodka-Roni Pie as well as the Fresh Shucked Clam Pie, that the NY Times labeled "Life-Changing!" He’s now crowned as the “Don of Dough!”
