Pad Kee Mao or “drunken noodles” is a savory, fiery dish found across Thailand.
The noodles in this kit are sourced from an artisanal producer in Thailand, and Chef Hong fell in love with their texture and quality. The sauce is Chef Hong's secret recipe (she added chili jam to take the sauce to the next level).
To make this kit extra special, and as authentically Thai as possible, Thaimee Love has sourced "Kra Pow" basil (Thai Holy Basil), Long pepper, Thai chili, garlic, and Makrut lime leaves.
All you need is to add the protein and vegetables of your choice to create a satisfying meal, ready in under 10 minutes!

She first won critical acclaim for her restaurant, Ngam, in New York’s East Village, where she introduced her style of modern Thai comfort food.
In 2015, Hong published her first cookbook “True Thai” (Rizzoli), displaying her vivacious personality, skill, and passion for the unique flavors of her homeland. Now one of the most visible faces of Thai food in the US, Hong has been invited to cook at prestigious venues around the world including New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, the James Beard House, and for numerous 5-Star hotel brands.
She has appeared on TV in the US and across Southeast Asia, including on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America,” in a major TV campaign for Air Asia, and as a judge on a prominent Thai cooking series. Hong currently serves on City Harvest’s Food Council, and is a Global Chef Ambassador for the AIDS charity (RED).
In the Fall of 2020, she debuted her latest venture, Thaimee LOVE, centered around a “Thai-inspired way of living.” The culinary and lifestyle brand includes a six-month pop-up restaurant in New York’s West Village, virtual cooking classes, meal delivery kits, and a Thai product line.
Additionally, Hong is collaborating with Heermance Farm in the Hudson Valley to grow Thai ingredients, and source the freshest local meat, seafood, and produce for her restaurant. A portion of the proceeds from Thaimee LOVE will benefit City Harvest, RED, and ROAR, an organization raising funds for hospitality professionals impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
