Leisurely invites you to a night in Russia as you embark on a unique journey that combines the best of food, drink, theatre, and human connection.
Handcrafted by Adam Aleksander Presents, they’ll also be debuting their craft cocktail club. Adam Aleksander and his team are constantly introducing novel experiences with radical new concepts in the name of art (to help paint a visual, they once hosted a disco pop-up in a Williamsburg laundromat).
Your guides will be Rebecca Antsis and Scott Rodrigue (Volver, The Dandelion). Together, they’ve created 4 flavor-bending cocktails, each with a story behind it.
Inside, you’ll drink your way through 4 innovative cocktails, paired with 4 stories, live music and food. Spend a night experiencing the culture of another continent, a country of superlatives- the country of Russia.
While you sip elixirs and savor stories, a live Russian band will be performing for your delight. Chef Ivy Stark’s kitchen will deliver hearty bites to prove food can elevate cocktails.
Expect to learn what Willy Wonka would put into a cocktail if he could, as their team crafts 4 wildly innovative drinks exploring biophilia, potions, and 100+ year-old Russian recipes. You’ll be up and close with our mixologists and storytellers, similar to an “Omakase” experience.
Their approach focuses on eliminating artificial ingredients- replacing them with fresh squeezed/extracted juices, plants, house made syrups, tinctures, bitters, infusions, and underutilized quality ingredients like amari.

Adam Aleksander Presents got its start in 2009 by creating an immersive supperclub, The Carnivale of Ascension. It built out a fantastic world by mixing story with set design, food, cocktails, and performance. The event caught on like wildfire. People kept asking us when the next one was. We realized we had something special. Instead of repeating the same idea though, we were compelled to create new experiences, experimenting with radical new concepts in the name of art. We are a collective of makers, artists, and storytellers. We come from all backgrounds: marketing, bar & restaurant, design, and theatre. We come together to reimagine new and better experiences inspired by our past, things we believe should be in the world. We’ve always balanced independent events and brand work. From Shakespearean supper clubs in the park to nightclubs for Heineken in Milan. From disco dance parties in laundromats to enchanted forests for Hendrick’s Gin. Our only requirement is a commitment to the extraordinary.
