Join Big Mozz Owner, Matt Gallira, and Executive Chef, Jimmy Warren, for a mozzarella-making class that is a must for any cheese lover!
In this hands-on experience, we'll learn everything that goes into the mozzarella making process from stretching to balling the cheese.
Then, we'll pair mozzarella with all sorts of noshes to enjoy as we learn why these pairings work so well.

Matt Gallira
Founder & President
In 2014, as he was serving Atlantic Ave Co. sauces in a fancy grocery store, Matt watched a chef make fresh mozzarella and became instantly hooked. He went to the place he thought made the best fresh mozzarella (A&S Pork Store in Little Falls, NJ, of course) and offered to work for free to learn all there is to know about fresh mozz.
In 2015, Big Mozz was born and took off like a rocket, landing a spot at New York’s famous Smorgasburg food festival. Big Mozz sets audacious goals and grew quickly, and our focus has always been on hospitality and serving the best food we can at the best venues around the country.
Jimmy Warren
Executive Chef
Jimmy joined the Big Mozz team after graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education and some time well spent at Del Posto in Manhattan. His specialty is in creating new and exciting recipes for Chelsea Market and running their other outdoor markets. Jimmy was also a rower, and played rugby at the University of Florida.
