Option 1: Akara | fried bean paste and bao buns enveloped in a sweet green pepper and celery sauce
Option 2: Grilled Eggplant | spicy shrimp balls wit with mayo-tamarindo sauce

Option 1: Yam Porridge | mashed sweet savory yam and taro root on a bed of stewed spinach sauce
Option 2: Fufu and Egusi | mashed yams with melon seed soup, dried fish, crayfish powder and palm oil with African spices

About Your Guide
segun odofa
Chef/Owner, Delicious African Orchards
Segun Odofa was born and raised in Western Nigeria, and as young as 10, would cook for his family and the wider Lagos Island community.
Unable to escape his true calling while studying Biology in NYC, Segun soon found himself doing what he loves best- cooking.
In 2015, he founded catering company, Delicious African Orchards (featured on CCTV, NYC News 12, MadameNoire, Amore, Eat Africa), leading to opportunities like cooking for the James Beard House.
Another huge moment came in 2017 at the NYC Jolloff Festival- winning 1st place for his Jolloff Rice served with his famous Buka sauce.
